CCS Blended Learning Option

The CCS Blended Learning Option is a scenario that combines face-to-face instruction with at-home remote/online learning on a rotational basis. Students will be assigned to groups and given a schedule that will outline when the face-to-face instruction with their teacher will take place. CCS will make work to keep children living in the same household on the same schedule if at all possible. While students are in school face to face, the teacher will give students rigorous in-classroom instruction and work to ensure they understand online platforms and assignments for the remote-learning portion of the experience. Parents will be notified of their child’s in-person blended learning group before school begins.  The number of groups will be determined and communicated based upon the total number of students/families who select this option when the data from the survey is received. CCS must also take into consideration those who require bus transportation when making these decisions. We anticipate that most students will meet face to face two days a week in this scenario due to the requirement that schools maintain 6 feet social distancing at all times.
