Clinton City Schools is underwent a three year process to become an ALICE certified organization. ALICE Training helps schools, businesses, healthcare organizations and houses of worship better prepare their most valuable assets — their people — to prevent, mitigate, respond to, and recover from a violent critical incident.

Teachers and staff began learning about ALICE Training in an online platform in the Fall of 2019. Certified ALICE trainer, John Lowe and SRO Fisher trained staff during the next two years using ALICE simulations - with some interruptions due to the pandemic. 

Staff will be sharing additional information with students this school year.  The ALICE organization provided lesson plans and associated materials that teachers will use to share age appropriate information and strategies with students.

Clinton City Schools se sometió a un proceso de tres años para convertirse en una organización certificada por ALICE. ALICE Training ayuda a escuelas, empresas, organizaciones de atención médica y lugares de culto a preparar mejor sus activos más valiosos, su gente, para prevenir, mitigar, responder y recuperarse de un incidente crítico violento.

Los maestros y el personal comenzaron a aprender sobre ALICE Training en una plataforma en línea en el otoño de 2019.
