Students from Clinton High School and Sampson Middle School recently auditioned for a seat in the Southeastern District Bandmasters Association (SEDBA) All-District Bands.
High School auditions were held January 6, 2024 at Sampson Middle School. 528 students from 49 different schools in southeastern North Carolina completed an audition. The following students from Clinton High School scored high enough to be placed in the district bands.

Middle School Auditions were held January 13, 2024 at Mac Williams Middle School. 366 students from 50 different schools in southeastern North Carolina completed an audition. The following students from Sampson Middle School scored high enough to be placed in the district bands.

Students from CHS and SMS will participate in a clinic at Corinth Holders High School January 26-27, 2024 where they will rehearse with all the students from schools in the Southeastern district who made the bands and present a culminating concert performance.
